About

Liz has been building things since she was a kid. The first days of building Summer forts with her friends in the woods of Connecticut evolved into elaborate structures, some of who’s old bones are still there today. She has worked in construction since she was a teenager, as a landscaper and brick layer, as an assistant to a journeyman plumber and master builder, as well as working with installation artist Richard Fleischner. She has worked with Master Craftsmen on many occasions, and was a timber framer for a few years in Colorado.

Liz attended the Rhode Island School of Design, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts + Bachelor of Architecture in 1997. While there, she enjoyed exploring other arts, like ceramics, blacksmithing, painting, sculpture, architectural rendering, and computer modeling, in some of the fields’ earliest CAD programs.

She has been providing architectural services for 30 years, in some form or another. Liz has been focused, since moving to the Lakes Region in 2003, on creating homes of all shapes and sizes, timber frames, a few commercial and civic projects, and most importantly raising two boys with her amazing husband.
